Seeking part-time Assistant Growers to join us for the 2026 growing season 

Pigeon Top Flowers is a small-scale regenerative flower farm & design studio in Free Union, Virginia. We’re growing an eclectic mix of flowers and foliage for our Bouquet CSA, local florists, and wedding & event clients. Lead farmer Nina has over 15 years of growing experience, and has spent several years learning how to be a pretty good boss.

We’re happy to train folks who are newer to farming or flowers as long as you are coachable and have the ability to take feedback and show some hustle. We’ll be working mostly outside in lots of kinds of weather planting, weeding, harvesting. This is primarily a farm job rather than a floral design job, although there may be occasional work in the studio especially if that’s of interest to you. We strive for a good balance of hard work and fun; we stock seltzers and popsicles, and have a pretty great pond to jump into after work. This farm is our home where our kids are growing up and it’s important to us that it’s a safe and supportive space for all folks, except fascists, so if that aligns with your vibe, reach out!

Our work week has some flexibility and could include 2-4 mornings or 1-2 full days per week, depending on your schedule. Pay is $20-25/hr depending on experience. We would prefer a full season commitment- March-November, but will consider a shorter-term commitment for the right candidate(s).
